American Country Red-Painted Pine Side Cupboard, First Half 19th Century - An American Country Red-Painted Pine Side Cupboard, First Half 19th Century The molded cornice above a single paneled cupboard door, enclosing a shelved interior, above a scalloped skirt,  ending in bracket feet. Dimensions: Height 47in; width 29 1/4in; depth 17 3/4in. Provenance:  From the Dorothea & Tom Buckner Estate. Dotty (Dorothea) and Tom Buckner began collecting Early American painted primitive furniture and accessories in 1979 and over the next 22 years they were regular buyers from a number of respected Bucks County, Pennsylvania antique dealers. Condition: Structurally sound. Retaining its original painted surface.
