Dimensions: Height 19in; width 61 1/2in; depth 18in. Provenance: From the Dorothea & Tom Buckner Estate. Dotty (Dorothea) and Tom Buckner began collecting Early American painted primitive furniture and accessories in 1979 and over the next 22 years they were regular buyers from a number of respected Bucks County, Pennsylvania antique dealers. Condition: Structurally sound. Retaining an old painted surface. There is an old repair to the left hinged lid. Scattered old losses to the top. Shrinkage, nicks, marks, abrasions, and surface scratches overall.
