Rabbeted and nailed construction throughout. Dimensions: Height 22in; width 42in; depth 18 3/4in. Provenance: From the Dorothea & Tom Buckner Estate. Dotty (Dorothea) and Tom Buckner began collecting Early American painted primitive furniture and accessories in 1979 and over the next 22 years they were regular buyers from a number of respected Bucks County, Pennsylvania antique dealers. Condition: Structurally sound. Retaining its original painted surface. Scattered wear, abrasions, marks, nicks and surface scratches throughout.
