A Ships Chronometer by Edward White - A Ships Chronometer by Edward White  19th century, in a three piece rosewood veneered and brass case with folding handles,  the dial marked for Edward White / 21 Cockspur St. London, numbered 1041.  Dimensions:  the case is 7 1/2” in height x 7” x 7”  Provenance:  from a local collection.  Condition: Cracks to the lid from age, surface wear to the case, the dial of the chronometer shows some surface wear.
