Pennsylvania Federal Walnut Splay Leg Stand, Early 19th Century - A Pennsylvania Federal Walnut Splay Leg Stand, Early 19th Century The square top above a single dovetailed splayed drawer with cockbeading and brass knob,  raised on turned tapered splay legs. Tulip poplar secondary wood. Dimensions:  Height 27 1/4in; width 17 3/4in; depth 18 1/4in. Provenance: Property from the Naylor Estate, Malvern, Pennsylvania. Condition: Structurally sound. Retaining an old, grungy and dry surface. The top with shrinkage and minor filling-in. Hardware replaced, ghost/scaring to drawer front from earlier hardware. General marks, wear, nicks, abrasions and surface scratches commensurate with age and use.
