Country Painted Softwood Tavern / Work Table, 18th Century - A Country Painted Softwood Tavern / Work Table, 18th Century Fitted with a single drawer to the frieze. Dimensions:  Height 26in; width 52 1/4in; depth 34 1/2in. Provenance: Property from the Naylor Estate, Malvern, Pennsylvania. Condition: Structurally sound. The top with significant wear and shrinkage throughout. Heavy wear and rubbing to the painted surface. General marks, nicks, abrasions and surface scratches overall. Likely having a drop-leaf to the back side of the table, evidence of old iron hinges rectangular cut-outs for along the backside for batten supports.
