Pair of Chippendale Mahogany Side Chairs, Fourth Quarter 18th Century - A Pair of Chippendale Mahogany Side Chairs, Fourth Quarter 18th Century The shaped crest rail with knuckled ears above a pierced tracery splat, over a trapezoidal slip-seat, raised on square legs with inner chamfering, joined by stretchers. (2) Dimensions: Height 38in; width 21 1/2in; depth of seat 15in; seat height 18in. Provenance: Property from the Naylor Estate, Malvern, Pennsylvania. Condition: Structurally sound. Minor movement at joints. General marks, wear, rubbing, nicks, abrasions and surface scratches. Loss to finish on each overall. The upholstered slip seats with wear and staining.
