Sheraton Red-Painted Drop-Leaf Dining Table, Second Quarter 19th Century - A Sheraton Red-Painted Drop-Leaf Dining Table, Second Quarter 19th Century Fitted with a single half depth dovetailed drawer, raised on turned legs, ending with ball feet. Tulip poplar secondary wood. Dimensions: Height 29 1/2in; width 37in; depth closed 19 1/4in; length open 47 1/2in. Provenance: Property from the Naylor Estate, Malvern, Pennsylvania. Condition: Structurally sound. Retaining a very old and dry painted surface. Heavy wear, rubbing, marks, nicks, abrasions, surface scratches and losses to the painted surface (heaviest to the top).
