Pennsylvania Walnut Two-Part Dutch Cupboard, First Quarter 19th Century - A Pennsylvania Walnut Two-Part Dutch Cupboard, First Quarter 19th Century The upper section with molded cornice above a pair of eighteen-light glazed cupboard doors enclosing a shelved interior fitted with plate grooves and spoon slots, and flanked by canted corners, all above two small candle drawers to either end of the pie shelf. The conforming lower section fitted with three short drawers over a pair of paneled cupboards, molded base, raised on ogee bracket feet. Dimensions: Height 83 1/2in; width 66 1/4in; depth 20 1/2in. Provenance: Property from the Naylor Estate, Malvern, Pennsylvania. Condition: Structurally sound. The upper section with later added iron 'rat tail' hinges. The upper section and doors with patches from earlier hinged hardware. the ogee bracket feet are replaced. General marks, wear, nicks, abrasions and surface scratches overall. The brass hardware is replaced. Scattered minor patches and repairs throughout.
