Pennsylvania Chippendale Walnut Tall Chest of Drawers, 18th Century - A Pennsylvania Chippendale Walnut Tall Chest of Drawers, Fourth Quarter 18th Century The molded cornice above three short drawers over five long graduated drawers, flanked by fluted quarter columns, with molded base,  raised on ogee bracket feet. The top left and right short drawers with Quaker locks. Tulip poplar and yellow pine secondary wood. Dimensions: Height 59 1/2in; width 41 3/4in; depth 23 1/2in. Provenance: Property from the Naylor Estate, Malvern, Pennsylvania. Condition: Structurally sound. Scattered patches, repairs and small losses overall. Breaks and losses to most corners and lip molding of drawers.  Vertical shrinkage and age cracks to sides. The brass hardware is replaced and in original holes to drawer fronts. Secondary holes to drawer fronts on the upper left and right small drawers. Replaced ogee bracket feet.
