Pair of George III Mahogany Side Chairs, Fourth Quarter 18th Century - A Pair of George III Mahogany Side Chairs, Fourth Quarter 18th Century The shaped crestrail above a pierced splat and trapezoidal slip seat, raised on molded straight legs with inner chamfering, joined by stretchers. (2) Dimensions: Height 38 1/4in; width 22in; depth of seat 16in; seat height 18in. Provenance: From a Delaware Collection. Condition: Structurally sound. General marks, wear, nicks, abrasions and surface scratches throughout. One chair with a significant break and repair to the stile (reverse where it meets seat rail). The velvet upholstery is in generally good condition overall.
