George III Mahogany Secretary Bookcase, Fourth Quarter 18th Century - A George III Mahogany Secretary Bookcase, Fourth Quarter 18th Century The upper section with a removable molded cornice above a pair of inlaid blind doors with crotch mahogany reserves enclosing a shelved interior. The lower section having a hinged fall with mitered corners and thumb molded edge, reversed by an inset tooled leather writing surface, the interior fitted with pigeon holes and small drawers,  all above four cockbeaded graduated drawers, raised on straight bracket feet.  Dimensions:  Height 92 1/2in; width 50 1/4in; depth 23 1/2in. Provenance: From a Princeton, New Jersey Collection. Condition: Structurally sound. General marks, wear, nicks, abrasions, surface scratches, small losses and minor patched repairs throughout.
