A George III Mahogany Apothecary Chest - A George III Mahogany Apothecary Chest   Rectangular with a locking lid that opens to reveal six compartments for glass apothecary bottles and an integrated slide top box, the front door is fitted with a spring loaded lock and opens to reveal to graduated dove tailed drawers, below four compartments for additional glass bottles, one bottle is labeled for Samuel Boyd 46 Merry Street, Dublin.    Dimensions:  7 1/2” x 6 1/2”, height is 10”     Provenance: From a Princeton collection. Condition: Some separation to the back board, scattered veneer loss, general expected case wear, the two drawers are missing pulls, the bottles are are all in good condition with some expected chips.
