Diminutive Queen Anne Oak Tall Case Clock Movement, Early 18th Century - A Diminutive Queen Anne Oak Tall Case Clock Movement, Early 18th Century, Case Later The Nine-Inch brass dial with silvered chapter ring having Roman numerals and cross with arrowhead half hour markers, un-matted center within cast spandrels. Inscribed ”Ra: Cappui in Stone fecit”. The two train movement with four knopped pillars, having an anchor escapement, striking on the hour on a single bell. Dimensions: Height 63 1/4in; width 16 1/2in; depth 9 1/2in. Provenance: From a Princeton, New Jersey Collection. Condition: The movement is probably together with the case by association. The movement in an overall restored and cleaned condition; appears to have undergone extensive replacements and rebuilding. We cannot guarantee the completeness and functionality of the clock's movement. The case having a refinished surface. Lacking a pendulum and two weights.
