French Mantel Clock, Achille Brocot & Jean-Baptiste Delettrez, Retailed Tiffany & Co. - A French Crystal Regulator Mantel Clock, Achille Brocot & Jean-Baptiste Delettrez, Paris, Fourth Quarter 19th Century Retailed by Tiffany & Co., New York The black slate, brass and beveled glass case having a circular enamel dial with Roman numerals, inscribed 'TIFFANY & Co. / NEW YORK' and visible anchor escapement, the twin train movement striking on a three-inch bell, the backplate stamped incised 'A. Brocot & Delettrez / Paris' Dimensions: Height 16 1/4in; width 10in; depth 7 1/2in. Provenance: From a Princeton, New Jersey Collection. Condition: Typical wear, toning and rubbing to the metalwork of case. The slate with minor fleabites, chips along edges and small losses. The enamel dial in generally good condition overall. The clock's movement was maintaining power and striking correctly at the time the condition report was conducted. We cannot guarantee the functionality and completeness of the clock's movement.
