Pennsylvania Federal Cherry Slant Front Desk, Circa 1800 - A Pennsylvania Federal Cherry Slant Front Desk, Circa 1800 The dovetailed rectangular top over a hinged fall with mitered corners, enclosing an interior fitted with a central inlaid prospect door, flanked by document drawers, further flanked by four pigeon holes and three small drawers to either side,  all above four long beaded and graduated drawers, raised on 'French' bracket feet. Dimensions: Height 44in; width 40 1/2in; depth 21 1/2in. Provenance:  From the collection of Bill and Nancy Haase. Condition: Structurally sound. Refinished condition. General marks, wear, nicks, abrasions, surface scratches and small losses. The hardware is replaced, secondary drilled holes to drawer fronts. With key.
