Sheraton Faux Grained Tulip Poplar Chest of Drawers - A Sheraton Faux Grained Tulip Poplar Chest of Drawers, Second Quarter 19th Century The rectangular top with reeded edges above three short over four graduated drawers with China pulls, sunken paneled sides, raised turned tapered legs.  Dimensions: Height 47 1/2in; width 42 1/2in; depth 20 1/2in. Provenance:  From the collection of Bill and Nancy Haase. Condition: Structurally sound. Wear, rubbing and loss to the painted surface. There is an earlier red surface beneath the faux graining. Scattered losses to corners and lip molding of drawer fronts. Several China knobs are replaced. No keys.
