American Green-Painted Pine Blanket Chest, Early 19th Century - An American Green-Painted Pine Blanket Chest, Early 19th Century The strap hinged rectangular top with breadboard ends and applied moldings, enclosing a dovetail-constructed box having a left covered till, with waist molding over two short drawers and molded base, raised on bracket feet. Dimensions:  Height 28in; width 50 1/4in; depth 23in. Provenance:  From the collection of Bill and Nancy Haase. Condition: Structurally sound. General marks, wear, abrasions and surface scratches. The left strap hinge is replaced. No key.
