Kazak Prayer Rug, Caucasus, Early 20th Century - A Kazak Prayer Rug, Caucasus, Early 20th Century Having a niche design with central geometrical device against a blue ground, with three large beetles to either end, decorated with small geometrical devices throughout. Dimensions:  Dimensions approximately 4ft 1in x 2ft 8in. Provenance:  From the Collection of Bill and Nancy Haase. Condition: Ends and corners with wear and loss. Much of the board at each end is gone. The edges are in generally good condition, but worn. Heavy tread wear and fading commensurate with age and use. There is a significant repair to the niche end.
