American Federal Green-Painted Pine Mule Chest, Early 19th Century - An American Federal Green-Painted Pine Mule Chest, Early 19th Century The strap hinged rectangular top with applied molded edges enclosing an open interior over two long dovetailed drawers, above a shaped skirt,  raised on bracket feet. Dimensions: Height 40 3/4in; width 43 3/4in; depth 18 1/2in. Provenance: From a Bucks County Collection. Condition: Retaining an old re-painted surface. Structurally sound. Typical marks, wear, nicks, abrasions and surface scratches. The painted surface likely with areas of refreshing and touch-up.
