An American Southern Box Form Sofa - An American Southern Box Form Sofa    Mahogany, and mahogany veneer, with tapered ring turned legs, baluster turned and blocked arms with urn form finials, and a tablet back with concave molding, the front frieze features string inlay, and the terminals of the legs and arms feature feather motif inlay, covered in red damask.   Dimensions:  67 1/2” arm to arm, 22” deep, seat height is 21”, the overall height is 41 1/2”   Provenance: From a local collection. Condition: One front leg has an open crack, there are cracks and minor losses to the veneer, overall good condition and structurally sound.
