D'Ascenzo Studios, Stained Glass Window Cartoon - D'Ascenzo Studios, Stained Glass Window Cartoon  From the first half of the 20th century, pastel and pencil on paper, depicting three angels framed by rosettes. Unsigned and in modern framing.  Dimensions: the frame is 80 1/2in x 24in.  Provenance:  Produced by D'Ascenzo Studios between 1904 and 1959. This work has descended in the family of David Bramnick (1892-1959), D'Ascenzo Studios' head designer and painter who worked with the firm for 45 years.  David Bramnick purchased the Studio following Nicola D'Ascenzo's death. Condition: An area of tearing is evident at the lower area of the work, not examined out of the frame.
