A Queen Anne Cherrywood Highboy, Possibly Connecticut, Mid 18th Century - A Queen Anne Cherrywood Highboy, Possibly Connecticut, Mid 18th Century   In two pieces.  The upper piece with flat top with two short drawers above four graduated long drawers.  The bottom section with carved fan motif on central drawer front on cabriole legs terminating in pad feet.   Dimensions : 38 1/2 in. wide (cornice); 35 in. wide (top case); 17 3/4 in. deep, 74 1/2 in. high     Condition: Brasses replaced and lacking key.  Shrinkage cracks to case sides.  The base with moldings replaced.  The proper right rear leg repaired.  The proper left rear leg also broken and repaired in two places, with the returns reattached.  Other general nicks, marks, scratches and evidence of wear.
