Two Maple Ladderback Armchairs, American, 18th Century - Two Maple Ladderback Armchairs, American, 18th Century   With slat backs and rush seats.   Dimensions : 25 in. wide, 16 1/4 in. deep, 46 3/4 in. high, seat height 18” (the taller); 21 in. wide, 15 1/2 in. deep, 46 1/4 in. high, seat height 17 1/4 in. (the shorter) Condition: Both with replaced rush seats.  The shorter with joints slightly loose and wobbly and with some scattered repairs.  Both with nicks, marks, scratches and wear consistent with age and use.
