Two Portrait Miniatures, Continental School, 19th Century - Two Portrait Miniatures, Continental School, 19th Century   Comprising a royal lady in court dress in an oval giltwood frame and a gentleman on mother-of-pearl ground identified as Frederick II of Prussia   Dimensions : from 2 7/8 in. to 4 1/4 in. long Condition: Not examined outside frames.  The profile of the gentleman not behind glass and with some flaking and loss to paint, particularly in the name and lower eight of his uniform.  Some build-up of dirt.   The portrait of the lady in apparently overall good condition.  The giltwood frame with areas of repaint and cracks, but stable.
