A Group of Four Portrait Miniatures of Gentlemen, English and Continental School, 19th Century - A Group of Four Portrait Miniatures of Gentlemen, English and Continental School, 19th Century   All unsigned in various gilt-metal and wood frames   Dimensions : from 2 7/8 in. to 5 1/4 in. long Condition: Not examined outside frames.  The example in a giltwood frame with losses to frame.  Some flaking and losses to paint on portrait surface.  Area of discoloration to background on left side.   The example in the oval gilt metal frame with paper backing painted with floral motifs and the initial ”H.”  Minor flaking and losses to paint on portrait surface, primarily to background at right side and edges.   The example in the gilt-metal and stained wood frame with minor scattered losses to paint on portrait surface.   The example in the circular walnut frame loose in frame.  In good overall condition.
