Dutch Baroque Style Parcel Ebonized Rosewood Kas, 18th Century and Later - A Dutch Baroque Style Parcel Ebonized Rosewood Kas, 18th Century and Later In seven parts. The stepped cornice of substantial proportions having a large ebonized crown molding with three applied carved lion masks, flanked above and below by ripple molding, over a frieze with with applied ebonized fret carved foliates and putti. The pair of large cove molded raised paneled doors flanked by three ebonized engaged columns with carved figural capitals, opening to reveal three fixed shelves, having raised and molded panels to either side, all above a molded breakfront base fitted with two large dovetailed drawers having turned pulls, raised on three oversized ebonized turned bun feet. Dimensions: Height 83in; width 66 1/2in; depth 25 1/2in. Provenance: From a Bucks County Collection. Condition: Incorporating antique and later elements. Structurally sound. In overall good condition, general expected wear including scattered veneer loss, shrinkage, age cracks, and small patches throughout.
