A Chippendale Cherrywood Chest of Drawers, Philadelphia Area, c. 1780 - A Chippendale Cherrywood Chest of Drawers, Philadelphia Area, c. 1780   With canted quarter columns and ogee bracket feet.   Dimensions : 38 1/4 in. wide, 36 3/4 in. wide at waist, 23 1/4 in. deep, 35 3/4 in. high   Provenance : From a Main Line collection Condition: The applied top moldings separated from top and likely repaired.  Replaced hardware with corresponding plugs.  The top with fading, marks, shrinkage cracks and other expected wear. The feet with some replaced glue blocks.  The case with expected wear.
