A Jacob Petit, Old Paris Jardiniere and Stand - A Jacob Petit, Old Paris Jardiniere and Stand    First half of the 19th century, a porcelain jardiniere with paw feet below lion masks, the body with gilt decoration of foliation, birds and panels of flowers, all below an acanthus, shell and grape rim, the jardiniere sits on a matching stand, both underglaze signed ”J.P.”.    Dimensions:  including the stand 11 x 5 1/2in, height is 6 1/4in    Provenance:  From a Main Line collection. Condition: Minor losses and surface wear to the enamels and gilt elements particularly to to the base where the jardinere sits, there is one 1/8in rim chip, otherwise good condition.
