An 18th Century Coin Silver Rattle - An 18th Century Coin Silver Rattle A coin silver rattle with whistle, bells, and a coral teether, the hexagonal body of the rattle with chased decoration, possibly by John or James Chalmers Jr., Annapolis, MD, the rattle is marked at the whistle ”I C”, and engraved ”S C”. Dimensions: the approximate gross weight of the rattle is 1.40 ozt, 4 3/4in in length.
