Two American Sterling Silver Candy Dishes, Second Half 19th Century and Later - Two American Sterling Silver Candy Dishes, Second Half 19th Century and Later   Comprising a Gorham ”Chantilly” heart-shaped candy dish, bearing marks for c. 1868-1884; and a Durgin ”Du Barry” candy dish, bearing marks for c. 1901.   Dimensions : 4 5/8 in. x 5 in., 1 1/4 in. high, the Gorham example; 3 in. x 5 in., 2 3/4 in. high, the Durgin example. The total approximate weight is 5.2 ozt.    Provenance : From a Chester County collection. Condition: Both unmonogrammed. Both in good overall condition with minor expected scratches and wear.
