Bidspirit auction | A German Silver Torah Shield

A German Silver Torah Shield , Judaica - A German Silver Torah Shield , Judaica  German or Austrian, 19th century. The decorative elements include C scrolls, acanthus leaf, stars, shells and three hanging bells. Together with two yads (Torah pointers), no marks on any of the items but each tests as silver.  Dimensions: the shield is 11 1/4in x 10 1/2in, each yad is about 9in long. The total approximate weight is 21.4 ozt.    Provenance: The Estate of Dr Neuman S Mittel of Boston and Cape Cod Massachusetts. Condition: All in good condition with expected wear.
