An Italian Majolica Two-Handled Centerpiece, Late 19th Century - An Italian Majolica Two-Handled Centerpiece, Late 19th Century   The shaped oval vessel with serpent-form handles, decorated with mythological scenes and raised on a footed base.  The underside with rooster mark for Ulisse Cantagalli (1839-1901).   Dimensions : 19 1/2 in. x 13 in., 7 1/2 in. high   Provenance : The Estate of Dr Neuman S Mittel of Boston and Cape Cod Massachusetts. Condition: Some minor chips, flaking and loss to decoration, particularly on rim.  One side with one visible hairline crack.
