A Set of Six Jacobean Revival Carved Oak Dining Chairs, c. 1920 - A Set of Six Jacobean Revival Carved Oak Dining Chairs, c. 1920   The crest with central putto above a floral-carved vasiform splat, trapezoidal seats and turned legs joined by medial stretchers.  Comprising two armchairs and four side chairs.   Dimensions : 19 1/2 in. wide, 17 in. deep, 40 in. high, 18 1/4 in. seat height (side chairs); 23 in. wide, 19 1/2 in. deep, 42 1/2 in. high, 18 1/4 in. seat height (armchairs)   Provenance : The Estate of Dr. Neuman S. Mittel of Boston and Cape Cod,  Massachusetts. Condition: Inset slip seats recovered with soiling and stains.  Other general nicks, marks, scratches, rubbing and wear to stained oak.
