A Chinese Carved and Gilt-Lacquered Figure of Guanyin, Late 19th/ Early 20th Century - A Chinese Carved and Gilt-Lacquered Figure of Guanyin, Late 19th/ Early 20th Century   Standing upright with hands in a gesture of blessing and dressed in flowing robes.   Dimensions : 4 in. x 2 1/2 in., 12 1/2 in. high   Provenance : The Estate of Dr Neuman S Mittel of Boston and Cape Cod Massachusetts. Condition: Regilt, with rubbing, wear and loss to gilding throughout, particularly to lower half.  Small areas of original gilt showing.  Some crazing and flakes to lacquer.
