A Pair of Chinese Cloisonne Enamel Seated Dogs, c. 1900 - A Pair of Chinese Cloisonne Enamel Seated Dogs, c. 1900   Decorated in the Archaic style throughout with scrollwork and dragons and with taotie mask breastplates and backs, all on red and green grounds.   Dimensions : 3 1/4 in. x 9 in., 9 1/2 in. high   Provenance : The Estate of Dr Neuman S Mittel of Boston and Cape Cod Massachusetts. Condition: With some rubbing, wear and loss to both. One dog with small loss to enamel at mouth and minor ding to ear at top back.  Some tarnishing and oxidation to metal.
