Two Chinese Carvings, Stone and Jade - Two Chinese Carvings, Stone and Jade   Comprising:  a jade carving of a girl riding a foo dog and holding a ruyi scepter, and a carving in green stone of a tripod censer with paw feet below tiger masks holding rings all below a foo dog finial. Together with an associated stand.    Dimensions:  the censer: 5 x 5”, height is 6 3/4in, the jade: 5 1/2 x 1 1/2in, height is 4 1/2in    Provenance: The Estate of Dr. Neuman S. Mittel of Boston and Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Condition: The jade carving appears to have two repairs at the rear legs which have been dovetailed and glued on, there are minor losses to the saddle, otherwise good with expected surface wear.
