Two 19th Century Works, A Portrait and a Study - Two 19th Century Works, A Portrait and a Study    Comprising:  an American oil on canvas-board of Clara Gardiner  attributed and dated for 1860 verso, and a late 19th century pastel on paper study depicting an ancient Greek warrior.  Dimensions:  sight for the portrait is 7 1/2 x 6in, the frame 9 3/4 x 8 1/4in, the study is 7 3/4 x 5 3/4in, the frame 8 5/8 x 6 1/2in   Condition: The portrait with minor surface wear and losses, otherwise good condition, the work on paper has not been examined out of the frame.
