An Estate Lot of Six Chairs, English and American, 18th Century and Later - An Estate Lot of Six Chairs, English and American, 18th Century and Later   Comprising: a Fancy ebonized and paint-decorated rush-seat fancy chair, an English carved oak side chair with cane seat and back, a Connecticut cherrywood lolling chair, an English Chippendale-style mahogany side chair, an American ladder-back side chair with urn-form finials and a Hepplewhite style mahogany side chair with chain stitch embroidered slip seat.    Dimensions : Hts. from 35 in. to 53 in.   Provenance: From a California collection.  Condition: The Connecticut chair with all four feet ended out.  Rubbing and loss to paint decoration on fancy chair.  General nicks, marks, scratches and evidence of use. The Hepplewhite style example has several old repairs.
