Smith Newfane, Vermont/ 1911”   Dimensions : 16 1/4 in. x 18 in.; 19 3/4 in. x 21 1/2 in., framed     Condition: The stretcher bearing an old label for N. Snellenburg & Co.  Canvas unlined.  Small patch and repair to canvas at top right quadrant.  Craquelure to surface, but paint is stable.  Abrasion to surface and build-up of dirt.  No apparent in-painting under UV light.  The later frame in good overall condition.
