An American Queen Anne Walnut Slant-Front Desk, c. 1750 - An American Queen Anne Walnut Slant-Front Desk, c. 1750   Probably originally with secretary top.  The top with slightly canted edges, the fall-front opening to reveal a fitted interior above four drawers on bracket feet.   Dimensions : 46 in. wide, 22 in. deep, 42 3/4 in. high   Provenance : From an Ohio collection. Condition: Lacking key.  The hardware replaced and with corresponding plugs and ghosting.  Shrinkage crack to fall front.  Other general nicks, marks, scratches and evidence of wear.  One interior drawer replaced.
