Paul Crosthwaite (Bucks County, PA, 1911-1981), ”Leaves” - Paul Crosthwaite (Bucks County, PA, 1911-1981), ”Leaves”   A study of fall leaves on a stone ground.   Oil on board, signed ”CROSTHWAITE” lower right and titled on frame on reverse.   Dimensions : 11 3/4 in. x 15 3/4 in.; 17 in. x 21 in. (framed) Condition: Indistinctly inscribed in pencil on frame, ”Purchased from John Sharp.....F.C. Carter” and possibly dated ”1955” on reverse of frame.  The painting in overall good condition with no apparent inpainting under UV light.  The frame probably original and with minimal nicks.
