Attributed to Al Waters, Wrought Monel Metal Plaque Commemorating Emanuel Swedenborg, c. 1920-1940 - Attributed to Al Waters, Wrought Monel Metal Plaque Commemorating Emanuel Swedenborg, c. 1920-1940 Mounted on oak and featuring a central portrait in profile of Emanuel Swedenborg surrounded by laurel leaves and architectural elements.  Al Waters was originally trained as a stonemason, but was proficient enough in metalwork to complete unfinished projects for the blacksmith shop of Parke Edwards (1890-1973) who was associated with the Bryn Athyn Cathedral.    Dimensions: 14 1/2in x 9in.    Provenance: From a Bucks County collection. Condition: The oak board has a central crack that has been partly repaired with putty.  Apparent repairs to wreath.
