James Floyd Clymer (American, 1893-1982), Group of Six Watercolors - James Floyd Clymer (American, 1893-1982), Group of Six Watercolors   all pencil and watercolor on paper   Comprising: a double-sided example depicting sailboats on stormy seas, one side signed ”Clymer” lower left; a double-sided example with seagulls on an artic sea, signed ”Clymer” lower right and a black and white abstract study on the reverse; a study of New York City with the Empire State Building in the distance, signed ”Clymer” lower left; a Mediterranean coastal scene, signed ”Clymer” lower left; a study of seagulls on the water, signed ”Clymer” lower left; and a rural New England scene in the fall, apparently unsigned.   Dimensions : 15 in. x 21 1/2 in., the largest (the study of seagulls on water)   Provenance : From a Yardley estate.  Condition: All unframed.  Expected yellowing to paper.  Pin holes to corners.  A couple possibly trimmed.  In otherwise good condition.
