Two Samuel Kirk & Son Repousse and Chased Silver Teapots - Two Samuel Kirk & Son Repousse and Chased Teapots   Both with 11oz purity mark, each teapot with beaded borders, the bodies decorated with panels of coastal continental landscapes among flowers, foliation, and acanthus, each hinged lid with a floral finial. Each inscribed ”To JHR / From / DWC / April 22nd, 1862”.    Dimensions:  each is 10 1/4in in overall length and 7in in height, the total  gross  weight for this lot is approximately 35.00 ozt    Provenance:  Bernard J.D. Irwin (1830-1917); Thence by descent in the family; from a Bucks County estate.  Condition: Scattered minor dings from use, expected surface wear, the interior of one has visible oxidation around the border which may need to be cleaned, one of the handles is present but detached.
