A Group of Eleven North European Pewter and Ceramic Vessels, 19th Century - A Group of Eleven North European Pewter  and Ceramic Vessels, 19th Century   Comprising: a tall tankard inscribed and dated ”1851”; two similar tankards; 3 canteen flasks of graduated size; an inkwell; a pair of English plates initialed ”S” and dated ”1835”; a faux bois ceramic mug with pewter lid; and a German Westerwald salt-glazed stoneware ewer.   Dimensions : 12 1/2 in. high, the tallest, the dated tankard   Provenance : From a Philadelphia estate.  Condition: All in good condition, with expected scratches and wear.
