Russian School (20th Century), A Wintry Landscape with Stream - Continental School (19th/20th Century), A Wintry Landscape with Stream   Oil on paper laid down to board, unsigned.   Dimensions : 15 3/4 in. x 20 in.; 20 in. x 24 in. (framed)   Provenance : From a New Jersey estate. Condition: 1 in. strips later added to top and bottom of work, crudely painted; would recommend removing.  The paper loose to right side but firmly glued down on the left.  The painted surface in good condition with no apparent inpainting under UV light.  The giltwood frame later repainted.
