Oshiver - 1931” lower right; a pastel on paper example of a standing figure signed and dated ”H.J. Oshiver 1936” lower right; and a pastel on paper example of a seated figure with head turned away, signed and dated ”H.J. Oshiver 1938” lower right.   Dimensions : 25 in. x 12 1/2 in. (sight); 29 1/2 in. x 18 1/2 in. (framed), the largest, the charcoal example   Provenance : From a New Jersey estate. Condition: Not examined outside frames.  All in good overall condition.  The frame of the seated pastel example with repaired breaks and repainting.  The giltwood frame of the charcoal example repainted.  The white-painted frame of the pastel example with nicks, chips, and areas of retouching.
