Yabu Meizan, A Large Satsuma Covered Vase - Yabu Meizan, A Large Satsuma Covered Vase    Meiji-Taisho period, the ovoid vase with painted, gilt, and polychrome enamels featuring two panels of pictorial decoration, one depicting a military procession, the other depicting a coastal landscape, the rest of the vase profusely decorated in alternating bands of various millefleur and with a floriform finial, marked for Yabu Meizan beneath the foot.    Dimensions:  height is 9 1/2in, the diameter is 7 1/2in   Provenance: From a Main Line collection.
