Tawara Koseki, Satsuma Covered Koro - Tawara Koseki, Satsuma Covered Koro   Late Edo -Meiji Period,  the ovoid tripod body profusely decorated in paint, gilding, and Gosu enamels depicting maple leaves above waves, the lid in silver with an applied Sparrow among blossoms,  the bottom marked with a large Shimazu Mon in Gosu blue and with the mark of Koseki.    Dimensions:  height is 7in, diameter is 6in    Provenance: From a Main Line collection. Condition: Good with some expected surface wear.
